Crane services we can request for you
Operated crane service
A crane plus a certified operator (and often a rigger or signal person) billed by the hour, with travel time. The usual choice for one-off lifts.

Truck-mounted boom cranes, often 17 to 40 ton, for quick setups, trusses, signs, poles, generators and material placement.
Mobile / hydraulic crane rental
Rough-terrain and all-terrain hydraulic cranes for heavier picks, longer reach and tight jobsites.
Rigging & lifting
Lift planning, rigging gear, spreader bars and crews to move machinery or heavy loads safely.
HVAC & rooftop unit lifts
Setting and swapping rooftop units, chillers and condensers on commercial and retail buildings.
Steel erection
Beams, columns, joists and metal building packages for new construction and additions.
Industrial & plant lifts
Equipment setting, tank and vessel moves and shutdown work at manufacturing and industrial sites.
Crane work across Sherman and Texoma
Sherman is one of the busiest construction markets north of DFW. Large semiconductor and wafer plants on the west side of town, new warehouses and retail along US-75, school and hospital additions, and steady residential growth all need lifting work, from a single rooftop unit to weeks of steel erection.
Most lifts here are operated rentals: a crane and certified operator for a few hours or a few days. Boom trucks handle trusses, HVAC equipment and material placement. Larger hydraulic cranes cover plant equipment, precast and heavy steel.

Crane rental FAQ
How much does crane rental cost in Sherman, TX?
It depends on crane size, how long you need it, travel distance to the jobsite, and whether you need riggers, permits or extra counterweight. Most operated crane jobs are billed hourly with a minimum (often 2 to 4 hours) plus travel. Small boom-truck picks can start in the hundreds of dollars, while large hydraulic crane jobs can run into the thousands. Send your load weight, lift height and reach and you’ll get real quotes instead of guesses.
What is the difference between an operated rental and a bare rental?
An operated (or "wet") rental includes the crane and a certified operator, and the crane company handles the lift. A bare rental is the machine only, and you supply a qualified, certified operator and take on more responsibility. Most customers in Grayson County use operated rentals.
Do I need a permit for a crane?
Sometimes. Setting up in a street, alley or sidewalk usually needs city approval, and moving very large cranes on state highways can require TxDOT oversize permits. Work near power lines has its own OSHA clearance rules. The crane operator you hire can tell you what your job needs. Check with the City of Sherman or Denison for right-of-way use.
How far ahead should I book?
Give as much notice as you can. A few days to two weeks is common for routine lifts, and busy periods can push larger cranes out further. Same-week work is sometimes possible for boom trucks, so include your dates in the request.
What information do I need for a quote?
The heaviest item and its weight, how high and how far it needs to go (radius from where the crane can set up), the job address, ground conditions and access, and your preferred dates. Photos help, and the operator may ask for them.
Who actually does the lift?
An independent, local crane company. We are a request and referral service. We don’t own cranes, and the operator who quotes you is responsible for its equipment, crew, certifications and insurance. Always confirm insurance and operator certification before work starts.
